COURSES
Puppy/Bronze/Beginners

Suitable for all puppies and dogs that have not previously attended training.
On successful completion of the course puppies will respond to handlers and handlers will have an awareness of the responsibilities of dog ownership.
Dogs will learn how to walk and behave in a controlled manner, including loose lead walking and recall to handler.
Silver/Intermediate
Puppy/Bronze/Beginners
Puppy/Bronze/Beginners
Suitable for all dogs having completed the Bronze level course.
Building on the skills learned in Bronze whilst increasing the level of difficulty.
Introducing new concepts of manners around people, dogs, toys and food. Safety, awareness and control around traffic and vehicles.
Gold/Advanced

Gold/Advanced
Suitable for all dogs having completed the Silver level course.
Natural progression from the Silver level, developing practical dog training skills with a greater knowledge and understanding of their canine companion and how dogs learn.
Introducing extended relaxation, working around distractions, control at a distance.

Sarah is an experienced dog training instructor with a background in competitive working gundogs prior to becoming a search dog handler in the emergency services. She has had the opportunity to learn and develop her training experience with Sussex & Surrey Police Dog Schools over a number of years. Sarah's CPD has led to various qualifica
Sarah is an experienced dog training instructor with a background in competitive working gundogs prior to becoming a search dog handler in the emergency services. She has had the opportunity to learn and develop her training experience with Sussex & Surrey Police Dog Schools over a number of years. Sarah's CPD has led to various qualifications as a trainer and search dog handler, including human & canine first aid.

Sarah has been an approved Assessor for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme since 2012.
Sarah was accepted as a full Member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers in 2013.
After a period of teaching GCDS under Alison Wright at Wheelgates Canine Behaviour & Training, Sarah was granted Kennel Club Listed status as a training provider in 2015.
